Bacillus Lysate INCI#35182 

Through a cooperative agreement with government agencies, a unique biological isolate was obtained and developed into a product that demonstrates the ability to safely absorb/block UV radiation in a far greater range than currently approved UV filters. The novel isolate survived  prolonged exposure on the exterior of the International Space Station and was optimized to show UVA, UVB, and HEV absorption properties

Testing was conducted a using a 96 well microtiter plate reader, and confirmed at at third party testing facility. Oxybenzone concentration is the FDA-established limit as an additive to skin care products.

Available as a water-based suspension, the Bacillus Lysate can be easily incorporated into various formulations such as sprays, gels, serums, lotions, and creams. The product will be available in various volumes but custom volumes may also be requested. 

Bacillus Lysate is the first biological product certified by the Space Foundation.

SPF Boosting Performance of Bacillus Lysate

In vivo SPF boosting of the Bacillus Lysate when added to a sunscreen containing traditional UV actives octocrylene, homosalate, and avobenzone when tested using a 2 person ISO24444 study. These results are only valid for the presented formulation and observed boosting activity in formulations or products may vary.
